I said goodbye to my beautiful boy, Quincy, about 6 weeks ago. We still have the other two older boys but we also now have 4 busy kittens plus the mama is in and out of the house now. (She has to learn about being inside including all the noises and sometimes grandkids. She also has to learn the art of nothing to have to worry about).
Rest for me looks like loving on each of the kittens…….touching feet, tummies, and long blinks with my eyes to them. Petting the older boys the way they enjoy and continuing to help Mama kitty transition from being only in the sunroom (getting way too cold) and spending more time in the greater house spaces and sharing the food/water and litter in the laundry room.
This is a larger amount of fur kids than I’d prefer but I’m trying to be a responsible human.
